Every 2 seconds in the DRC, someone needs blood. Join our movement so that no life is lost due to a lack of available blood.
In the DRC, less than 10% of the population donates blood. Thousands of lives are lost each year because blood is not available when it is needed. BOMOI exists to change this reality. We mobilize voluntary donors, support blood banks, and organize collections so that no child, no mother, no patient dies from an avoidable shortage. Our mission: to combat avoidable deaths related to the lack of blood donations.

Mobilization of volunteer donors
We identify and support volunteer donors in partnership with churches, mosques, universities, and community leaders, in order to create a reliable network ready to meet the needs of partner blood banks.
Organization of blood drives
In collaboration with our partner blood banks, we coordinate collections to ensure that donations proceed smoothly and that the banks remain stocked.
Training and support for partners
We support our partners — hospitals and blood banks — in transitioning from traditional methods to effective digital management, improving inventory tracking and the donor experience.
Awareness and education
We raise awareness in communities about the importance of blood donation and work to change mindsets so that donating becomes a voluntary and regular act.
